As you may have read in one of my previous posts, I talk and act like my car is a real living thing, he's got a name and everything... and I feel that since he is part of my family you should probably meet him!
Buddy is a 1995 white Ford Explorer who has been in my family since he was born. Previously and originally he belonged to my aunt, while I was sporting my first car which was a bright teal Geo Storm (gotta love those baby's.. yeah not really) However, one fateful day about a week before I was moving out and going to school my freshman year at Concordia University the good old storm died on me. Now I knew this was coming for a while but didn't think it would chose such inconvenient timing. But alas, I was car-less. Luckily around that same time my aunt was getting a new car and she so lovingly gave me Buddy so I would have transportation! And that is how we were brought together!
We have been through quite a lot together in the past 3 years I have owned him. He has taken me and my friends on some sweet adventures, and has all around been a great and reliable car! I really haven't had much trouble with him other than 2 major times when he broke down in some very inconvenient places. First off there is "The Keizer Incident" which I won't go into now, but I'm sure my dear friends Sam (also used to have a Ford Explorer but now makes his appearances in a sweet Z4 BMW!), Rose, and Alfonso remember quite vividly. And then the "Halloween in Seattle Incident" when Me, Lisa, Alyssa, and Maddy were planning on going to some haunted houses but broke down about 5 minutes into the drive... he was just scared to go that's all.
Other than that he really has been so good to me and even if there is going to be trouble, he always makes sure I'm in a safe spot first. I love him dearly and hope that he will be around for a long time with many more adventures to come!

Great to hear about your car. The other Blogmaster who I used to follow mentioned how nice you were in driving her and your other friends around town. You're practically a saint...Saint Tara. Almost impressive is that you gave your car a guy's name. That doesn't happen often. Most non-human things are named after females. Keep up the interesting blogs.
Haha yeah he's definitely a guy for sure, I didn't even think about that... Well I love doing it and glad that I can! We have lots of adventures in good old Buddy!
Buddy!
"The Keizer Incident"? Do tell
