There's nothing like a baby basset hound...
So recently I have seriously been missing my dogs while being away at school. As I have said before my dogs are my life and I truly do love them. Here's a little something else about my basset hound Libby...she loves to chew things. Fun for her... bad for us. I figured I would give you a list of things she has chewed and/or eaten thus far since we have owned her (about a year and a half). Well here goes nothing...

Sorry to say, Tara, but that list provides enough reasons not to get a dog. Moreover, I hate having to feed my kids, let alone spending money on a dog. I do agree that they can be fun and lovable, but that's not enough reason to have one.
To think, this man raised me. And was unhappy all those years feeding me =)
Haha oh Ally :)
Don't worry, not all dogs are like this... in fact I don't know a single dog other than mine that is like this. My lab was so easy to train, we didn't have to tell her "no" more than twice ever and she never did it again. Just don't get a hound and you will probably be fine. Labs or herding type dogs like an austrailian shepard are the way to go, they are some of the smartest and quickest learning. But I wouldn't trade Libbby for the world... well maybe the world, however it would take a lot of convincing.
I'm sure that you're dad Loves you and feeds you well. He sounds like a very kind and generous man. I don't know why people keep confusing me with your dad. I thought that my name said it all.
I could and would say not to that dog, infact I have. I refuse to feed her cheeze-its and easy cheese from the can only nikita gets that.
